It’s been an amazing ascent by Netflix. Today, roughly half of all adults in the United State watch streaming content on Netflix at least once in a while. Let that stat from Civic Science sink in. 29% say they watched a few times a week or more!
The growth in just a few years is nothing short of staggering. That 50% number is up from 39% in less than two years.
As the streaming service grows, the makeup of Netflix users is changing and their impact is growing.
The report by Civic Science shows a continuing upside to Netflix as well. Another 8% of consumers say they also plan to add Netflix sometime in the future.
