I figured Facebook would be the #1 app, so that was no surprise. I was, however, surprised who was #2 on the list.
It’s Facebook Messenger coming in at #2, beating out YouTube, Google, Gmail, Snapchat, Instagram, and the rest. It’s been just over two years since Facebook pulled messaging out of the core social media app and embraced Messenger as a stand-alone.
Twitter was not on the list back in January, 2016, but doesn’t make the cut this time around.
