Websites made through Google Business Profiles will shut down on March 1st, reports SearchEngineLand. When visitors attempt to access these sites after that date, they will be redirected to the associated Google Business Profile until June 10th. After June 10th, visitors will receive a “page not found” error.

Businesses using these sites need to create new websites and a new URL before March 1st to avoid disruption.

Custom domains redirecting to Business Profile websites will reroute visitors to the Business Profile itself until June 10th. To manage this, businesses can update redirect settings through their domain host before then.

Ad campaigns connected to shuttered Business Profile sites may also be impacted. Businesses can either change the link in these campaigns before March 1st to keep ads running or pause campaigns entirely.

FYI, Google Business Profiles was formerly known as Google My Business (GMB).
